Our Background
The Homeplace started in Sheridan in September 2020 and relocated to Story in April 2025. We are a member of WY Southern Baptist Mission Network. Our church family includes people from different walks of life, not just cowboys, reflecting the image of heaven that the apostle John was shown (Revelation 7:9).
Our Mission
"To know Jesus and to make Jesus known to the people of our community and beyond (Matthew 28:18-20)". We live this out locally by engaging our community through outreaches and volunteer projects, and globally through mission projects and mission trips.
Our Vision
"To see people transformed through the power of the gospel and living out God's commissioning every day (Romans 1:16-17)". We focus on developing and maintaining a relationship with Jesus Christ, equipping people, and giving them opportunities to live out their commission.
Our Pledge
"We will strive to be a church where the love of Jesus and family is found" (Matthew 22:37-39). We share the love of Jesus by focusing on the gospel, that man is sinful but is redeemed through the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our gatherings are in a relaxed, family atmosphere where people from different walks of life come together as a family of believers to love and encourage one another.
